Worked with cross-functional team to reimagine and redesign antiquated data search and modification design for engineering end-users.
Engineering end-users faced challenges in navigating and modifying legacy data systems.
Intuit’s legacy data management system was cumbersome, requiring engineers to manually sift through large datasets with minimal UI guidance. The existing interface was built on outdated principles, making data retrieval slow and error-prone. Many users reported frustration due to an unclear navigation structure, non-intuitive search functionality, and a lack of clear error prevention mechanisms. This inefficiency led to increased processing time and a steep learning curve for new employees.
Reimagined the search and modification interface, incorporating user-driven insights to enhance efficiency.
I conducted interviews with engineers to understand their workflow and pain points. Using this data, I redesigned the system to include a simplified search function, predictive filters, and an intuitive data modification panel. I also implemented real-time feedback mechanisms to prevent input errors and provided clear system status updates. The result was a more efficient and user-friendly interface that significantly reduced search times, minimized errors, and improved overall productivity.
