Project 1: SOW Desktop App

The Problem

Streamlining Statement of Work (SOW) Creation in a Complex Excel-Dependent Workflow

At OpTion Cyber Security, a key challenge stemmed from an issue many established companies face—excessive reliance on Excel for critical business operations, an antiquated system approach. The process of generating Statements of Work (SOWs) involved pulling calculations from multiple, disparate Excel spreadsheets, leading to a cumbersome, complex, and highly inefficient workflow.

For new hires, navigating this system was particularly daunting, often requiring weeks or even months of ramp-up time. Moreover, the inefficiencies caused significant delays, bottlenecks, and client frustration, ultimately impacting both internal productivity and customer satisfaction. The lack of a streamlined, user-friendly approach not only slowed down operations but also created unnecessary friction across teams.

This presented a clear opportunity to reimagine and optimize the SOW creation process through UX-driven digital transformation.

The Solution

A Seamless, Intuitive Web Application for SOW Creation

To address the inefficiencies caused by Excel dependency, I designed and implemented a simple yet intuitive web application that streamlined the Statement of Work (SOW) creation process. My solution focused on usability, scalability, and adaptability, ensuring that a diverse range of users—from basic to advanced—could effortlessly navigate the system.

Through in-depth user research and competitive analysis, I evaluated industry best practices and integrated proven design patterns to create a solution that balanced functionality with clarity. The application featured a well-structured admin panel for seamless backend management and a clean, guided front-end experience that minimized friction for users.

By prioritizing usability and accessibility, the platform dramatically reduced onboarding time, errors, and inefficiencies, enabling teams to generate accurate SOWs in a fraction of the time. The result was a beautifully intuitive, highly functional interface that empowered users to work smarter, not harder, ultimately improving productivity, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency*.

Project 2: Client Portal

The Problem

An Outdated, Inefficient Client Portal Hindering Productivity

At Option Cyber Security, the existing client portal had become a significant barrier to productivity and usability, frustrating clients and limiting operational efficiency. The portal’s overly complex structure made navigation difficult, forcing users to switch between disconnected views to access critical features. Key cybersecurity tools and information were scattered across multiple locations, creating unnecessary friction and slowing workflows.

The user interface lacked clarity, with poor organization and an absence of intuitive design principles, making even basic tasks cumbersome. Additionally, the portal’s responsiveness and scalability were severely limited, preventing it from adapting to clients’ evolving needs or integrating with modern cybersecurity solutions.

The Solution

Full redesign and user-centric methodology.

To resolve the inefficiencies of Option Cyber Security’s outdated portal, I led a full redesign focused on intuitive navigation, seamless integration, and user-centric design.

The new portal consolidated all key features and cybersecurity tools into a centralized, easy-to-navigate interface, eliminating the need for users to switch between disconnected systems.

I implemented a logical information architecture and user-friendly navigation, allowing clients to access critical tools and data efficiently. With a responsive design approach, the portal became scalable, adapting to various devices while ensuring consistent functionality and performance.

Ultimately, this revamped platform reinforced Option’s mission of delivering top-tier cybersecurity solutions while providing clients with a cohesive, user-friendly experience that optimized efficiency and usability.
